Families able to cooperate are much more likely to achieve results that optimize the childrens' and the parties best interests.
Ms. Ours also believes that attempts at negotiation and cooperation, while certainly entered into in good faith and with high expectations, should also be carefully and strategically monitored by wise counsel focused on protecting the client's interests and preserving strategies litigation. One of Ms. Ours' particular strengths is her utilization of insightful judgment and advice specifically tailored for each family situation and, when necessary, her aggressive litigation skills. Just as the clinical skills of emergency, trauma, or medevac nursing, are basic requirements upon which to build a practice in those settings, the true bedrock foundation of Ms. Ours' law practice is a solid grasp and love of litigation skills and practice.

Ms. Ours has a true understanding of the realities of clinical practice today within actual practical settings and can bring this practical approach to meeting clinical and regulational standards.
As the growing impact of regulatory issues collides with health care and the practice of health care delivery, advice and planning to practice managers and clinicians becomes even more critically important and time-sensitive.
Ms. Ours has published in professional journals on the issues of Violence in the Emergency Department, Legal Issues of Competent I.V. Therapy, (EMTALA) Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act and the impact on care givers of rape patients.
